Audi UR Quattro Turbo

Launched at the Geneva Motor show in 1980 the first quattro’s were introduced to the UK market at the beginning of 1981, initially left hand drive only but by the end of 1982 Audi were producing right hand drive models. With a permanent four wheel drive system and a fuel injected turbo engine the UR quattro was a legend in the making. Originally only 400 rally specification cars were going to be produced but due to demand around 11,000 cars were sold. The last car built was in 1991 which has been retained in Audi’s museum. The limited number of right hand drive cars in the UK has made it a rare and collectable car.
